Human Target came out the clear winner again this week, but according to tvbythenumbers, "it was down a tenth to a 2.2 rating with adults 18-49 which won't do anything to help its renewal prospects, though it probably doesn't hurt them either. But with each week, those prospects get dimmer."
While the show appears strong the water cooler buzz dose not seem to equal up to other shows such as Lost. This is most likely due to the fact that each week is a stand alone show. While we are starting to get a hint of Chance's back story, it may not be quite enough to get viewers twittering. From what we have heard at WonderCon, that is precisely the direction that writers, producers and actors are hoping the show will take in season two.
The shows presence as WoderCon offers some glimmer of hope that Fox is still eager to invest in the show in spite of tvbythenumbers nail biting predictions.

Keep this show. These three actors have the chemistry to make it compelling viewing and the humor is what is needed against other action/crime shows which are just too gruesome. this show makes its point, but the comic book saves it from being a hackneyed clone of the other zillion action/crime shows.
Mark Valley deserves to stick around!!
